King’s Lynn church festival sets date for 2024

Manifest music festival, staged by The King’s Glory church has set a date for 2024 after a successful but wet event this year.

Pastor Oladapo Adegoke from The King’s Glory church described this year’s event as a day of rain, music and blessing:

“Despite the unpredictable weather, Manifest Christian music festival delivered a day of powerful performances, uplifting messages, and unforgettable memories at The Walks City Park. Around 400 people gathered on the day to experience the positive vibes and spiritual connections offered by this unique Christian music festival,” said Pastor Oladapo

The rain didn’t deter and festivalgoers enjoyed live music, food, and culture.

“The festival featured an impressive line-up of performances, including soul-stirring renditions by the TKG Choir, the captivating voice of Tina Boonstra, the award-winning Faith Child, the soulful Emmanuel Smith from The Voice UK, and the harmonious melodies of the Power and Beauty Choir from Norwich. The diverse musical offerings resonated with the audience, creating an atmosphere of unity and joy.

“In addition to the music, Manifest provided a variety of food stalls to satisfy every craving, from classic burgers to sweet treats from the ice cream van. The festival also celebrated cultural diversity with an African cuisine stall and a vibrant African clothing stall, adding a colourful touch to the event,” said Pastor Oladapo.

“The highlight of the day was Evangelist Kevin Thomson's moving testimony. He shared his personal experience of serving on the field in Afghanistan and how the power of the gospel played a pivotal role in his recovery from post-war trauma. The audience was deeply moved by his story, reinforcing the festival's message of faith, hope, and healing.”

Manifest 2024 will take place on Saturday June 15 from 12pm to 5pm in the Walks, King’s Lynn.

In the meantime, The King’s Glory church is busy preparing for its carol service due to take place on Saturday December 9 at 5pm. The service is open to all and will feature the church’s gospel choir.
