Norwich church is so full it doubles up services

EternityMassive300A Norwich church is so full every Sunday morning that it is set to run two separate services every week from September 4.
Due to a period of growth, Eternity Norwich, based at Earlham Green Lane in Norwich, is set to repeat its Sunday morning service twice every week.

Having been at full capacity for some time now, the leadership, led by Pastors Paddy and Jennike Venner, decided that it was time to ‘double in a day’.

The two meetings, named Massive Xpress and Massive, will run at 9.30am and 11am respectively, with Children’s Church and crèche facilities at the first meeting. The same message will be preached at both, and the worship, lead by the Eternity Band, will be as high-powered as ever.

Pastor Paddy said: “If it’s true that a church will never grow beyond seven eights of its building capacity, we believe this is the faith step required to create space for more people to engage with the House of God.

“Every full seat is an opportunity to reach someone with the truth of Jesus , so we have doubled our capacity in one move, trusting that God will honour this and continue the growth trend here.”

Eternity Norwich also operates free children’s clubs every Thursday evening: YouthQuake for years 5, 6 and 7 at 5pm and OMG for years 8, 9 and 10 at 6.30pm.
