Hope 2018 creates mission chance for young people

Norwich Charities ENYP and Norwich Youth for Christ will be supporting Hope 2018 and the development of Mission Academies to provide the opportunities for young people to engage locally and elsewhere with mission.

The dream and vision of Hope 2018 is to see God’s Kingdom grow and being intentional in providing evangelistic and mission opportunities to engage with those who don’t yet know Jesus.  The vision is to mobilise the whole church for a year of mission in words and actions, and this is taking place throughout the UK.

Danny Doran-Smith, ENYP Director, said, “Increase and multiplication was the focus of the Youth Conference which we led with NYFC in 2016, and Hope 2018 provides us with another opportunity to work together to see a national movement of mission unfold.  Partnering with young people and equipping them is a core focus of the vision of ENYP and we look forward to seeing the ideas for mission come to fruition”.

Nick Blanch, Norwich Youth for Christ Director, said “Some of the outreach we have been involved with as part of Hope Revolution has been brilliant! But as we head into 2018, we now have an opportunity to see this multiply beyond ourselves as we partner with other like-minded organisations and churches who are passionate about mission, outreach and the growth of God's Kingdom!”

In Norwich ENYP and Norwich Youth for Christ will be holding a lunch in July to draw people together who might be interested in being involved.
