Christian charity releases free video on addictions

C4L's latest hard-hitting video on addictions has been released and it is an excellent free resource to anybody who is working with people with addictions of all kinds.

Battle For Freedom is a new video to help those with addictions of any kind.  Released by Christian charity C4L (Connect4Life – www.connect4life.org.uk ), it is a hard-hitting short film identifying how addictions can begin, tracing their destructive power but showing how they can be overcome.

Honestly showing how addictions can affect all of us, the gripping imagery comes home with insightful quotes from Kate Middleton, Brad Pitt and others such as Nelson Mandela who said: “It always seems impossible until it is done!”  It concludes with helpful signposting for anyone who has been affected and wants to choose a different future.

C4L began providing quality free online resources for discipleship and outreach back in 2009.  Since publication of their 15 videos for life, they now have over 1,500,000 downloads reaching with the Christian Gospel across the world.

Olaf Fogwill, Ministry Director for C4L said, “There is no place on earth where this Good News cannot go and in this electronic age, we are thrilled to see it easily shared and reaching even those living in the most harsh oppressive areas,”

All these videos are featured on their YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/c/connect4life

Other videos from C4L

Two other C4L videos brought out this year have struck a chord.  Dealing with Truth and fake news, over 54,000 have watched ‘This Fragile Planet,’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMSLymLqti8  and found hope for the future.

The more recent ‘Age of Enlightenment’ takes up Stephen Hawking's words: “Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious!” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o5SjIdXIP2U .

Both videos and C4L’s Best Connections App are worth watching and sharing.

Coming soon

Work has begun on two more C4L Videos for Life.  One will look at relationships and the other at death, two areas touching all of us.
