Fiona Oommen 750CF

HTB speaker to visit North Norfolk Filling Station

Fiona Oommen  from Holy Trinity Brompton in London will be the guest speaker at the North Norfolk Filling Station meeting on Monday February 25.

Fiona, originally from Cheshire, has spent most of her life in London or even further south. She has been privileged to have had a full career in front-line leadership and management in a number of sectors including a well-known national retailer, then the education sector,  as well as in 'not for profit' charities.  She has deeply enjoyed the 30-year adventure of a cross cultural marriage - Fiona's late husband Jacob was a lawyer from Singapore and was of a Christian Indian heritage. Their pride and joy remains their three grown-up children – Joshua, Jonathan and Jessica.

Fiona has sought to walk closely with Jesus from a young age and is being taught more and more the reality of being a child of God. Her current challenge is exploring and experiencing the truth of Ephesians 1v8. Her ambition is to know the height and width and length and depth of the love of God and to be a witness to this, to enable others to 'grow and experience the joy of your faith'.

The Filling Station, which was born out of the Church of England in the West Country, has grown exponentially in terms of venues opening all over the United Kingdom and continues to serve and refresh both Church leaders, congregations and more importantly to open the eyes of those who are seeking answers to the meaning of life through the Christian faith.  The Filling Station is helping to bring unity amongst believers from across the whole Church spectrum.

All are welcome at this meeting of The Filling Station for an evening of fellowship and wonderful worship followed by the main talk.

Coffee and cakes will be available from 7pm, with the main talk at 7.30pm. There will also be a prayer ministry time at the end of the evening.
