Christian chef’s Keswick food stop gets rave reviews

Chef Alin Radu and his wife Gabriela are gaining rave reviews for the chef quality food and friendly service dished up by their new business, Radu’s Keswick Café, a mobile food trailer situated in Keswick, south of Norwich.

Last year chef Alin Radu and his wife Gabriela, who attend Norwich Railway Mission, bought a bright orange mobile food trailer and established their business Radu’s Keswick Cafe.

Alin, who was previously a chef at Dunston Hall and Norwich School, is committed to serving quality food and making Radu’s Keswick Café, located on the B1113 near Keswick, between Norwich and Mulbarton, a destination food stop.

The café serves the traditional roadside favourites of burgers and bacon baps, along with daily specials such as halloumi burger, chicken fajita and homemade fish and chips.

Alin and Gabriela are originally from Romania. They met in London, but moved to Norwich after falling in love with the city three years ago. They had hopes to set up a food business but assumed it would take years of saving. Then last year their parents blessed them financially enabling them to buy the mobile trailer and start trading in the winter of 2018.

The couple say that God has taught them lots of lessons since opening. Alin said, “God will guide us. We need his wisdom. If it is from God it will thrive.”

Certainly on social media the business is attracting rave reviews both for the quality of the food and their friendly service.

One typical review said: “Great burgers and amazing customer service! Alin and Gabriela are lovely as is their food!”
