Transforming Norwich lunch offers ministry tips

Ex-Brighton vicar, Rev Phil Moon, will offer tips on how to keep going in ministry to the Transforming Norwich leaders lunch on Wednesday November 16.

An open invitation has been offered to the next Transforming Norwich Leaders Lunch to be held at the recently renamed CityGates Church (previously known as Surrey Chapel), 2-6 Botolph St, Norwich NR3 1DU, on Wednesday November 16 between 12-2pm.

CityGates Church leader, Andy Rees, has invited Phil, who recently retired as a vicar in Brighton, to speak at the event. Phil was the Director of CYFA ventures (an arm of CPAS) and Vicar of Christ Church Lowestoft for 10 years.

He has since spent 17 years down in Bishop Hannington in Hove and has now retired up to Norwich. Hhil will talk, with real pastoral experience, on five tips to keep going in ministry.

There will also be an opportunity to share fellowship and pray together in small groups.

The nearest parking is the RCP car park on Botolph Street.

If you would like to attend, then please RSVP by Monday November 14, stating any dietary requirements, to TN administrator Lisa Fifield at transformingnorwich@gmail.com.

The steering group writes: "This will be an opportunity to connect with one another over a buffet lunch, maybe meet some new friends and, we hope, be encouraged and refreshed through our time together. Whether you've been coming along to Transforming Norwich lunches for years, or you've never been before, we'd love to see you there."
