Sheringham church to host leaders conference

“Not Ashamed” is the theme of a day of teaching, worship and ministry to be held at Lighthouse Community Church in Sheringham in October, and folk from any church are welcome to come along. Tony Rothe reports.

The main speaker will be Ness Wilson, who is the National Leader of the Pioneer Network of churches. Ian Savory, Pete Skivington, and Dan Ward, leaders at Lighthouse Community Church, will also be leading sessions.

Pioneer is a relational network that connects, inspires and equips churches in the UK and globally. Their aim is to play a part in the re-evangelisation of the nations, plant new churches, equip existing churches, and release leaders and influencers in every sphere of society. They endeavour to do this by developing strong resource churches that are able to support other churches as they, in turn, serve their communities, towns and cities.

Ian Savory said “This is an event which will guide, inspire, and encourage us as we seek to share the love of Jesus in our local communities. Whatever your role in the church where you worship, we hope you will emerge from this day refreshed and re-charged in your outreach.”

The conference will run from 9.15am to 2.30pm on Wednesday 12 October 2022. The cost is £15 per person, which includes lunch. Please book in by Thursday 6 October, and also advise any dietary requirements.
