The Hall has accommodation currently for residents in 19 rooms. We are hoping to have 22 rooms by 2022. All the rooms are bright, airy and en-suite. The Hall has two large lounges, one of which features a balcony that affords good views of the gardens and beyond. The lounge on the ground floor is used extensively for the majority of the Hall's activities including the weekly services.
Meals are served in a large, bright dining room and are scheduled to meet the individual needs of the residents, including any special requirements.
There are 43 sheltered bungalows situated in the grounds of Quebec Hall. The self-contained bungalows are well suited to those who are seeking peace in their later years and who wish to maintain their independence. Privacy of all occupants of the self-contained, comfortable accommodation is ensured. In addition, each bungalow is linked directly to the Hall by a communication and security system that provides immediate assistance in an emergency.
Each bungalow has a small garden and residents are encouraged to plant flowers and shrubs. These gardens enhance the peace and tranquillity of the site.
Services are held twice a week on Thursday and Sunday evenings. Speakers at these services are taken from churches in and around Dereham and every effort is made to encourage residents to attend one of the churches in the area.
For those who wish to go into town, public transport stops at the bus shelter outside the gates of the Hall.
A wide variety of activities and facilities are provided for the residents including hairdressing, chiropody, cream teas, bbq, quiz nights with fish & chips and entertainment evenings. There is also a launderette and a good library.
