Renowned comedy magician to visit Sheringham church

2018: Lighthouse Community Church in Sheringham has announced its programme of inspiring evenings on selected Sundays this summer and autumn, with high profile guests including a priest, pastor, comedy magician and a singer/songwriter. Tony Rothe reports.

Collectively known as Stir 18, these evangelistic evenings are open to everyone, with comedy, magic, music and inspiring talks. The church hopes the range of guests will have broad appeal across the community as well as encouraging and inspiring Christians from churches in North Norfolk and across the county.

steve campbell 250CFSunday June 3 will be a worship evening featuring Steve Campbell, right. Steve and Angie moved to Cambridge in 1994 as Senior Pastors of a lively church called C3. Under their leadership, the church has developed into an influential, pioneering church known for its worship, teaching and generosity.

Steve has taught in many different contexts throughout the UK and beyond. He works closely with several different streams and churches, teaching and advising on his greatest passion, the local church. As a gifted communicator Steve has a conviction to change the perception of church and loves to challenge people’s mindsets of what church should be.
