Appeal for volunteers to set up Norfolk youth camp

Christian youth camp Intents is back very soon and organisers are appealing for volunteers to help on Saturday May 19 to help set up the camp just outside Norwich.

Intents is a popular camp for children in year six and above that is held in partnership with the Fountain Network each year. This year's event is nearly fully booked and there are some exciting seminars and speakers lined up, including Canon Andrew White, Freddy Hedley and Rob Tervet with worship from Phil Goldstone from Kingdom Life church.

The weekend is organised by Adam Jackson and a group of volunteers, many of whom became Christians at Intents when they were younger.

Lots of activities are planned, including a 'prophetic dropin' - where young people are prayed for for words and pictures.  Wide games make the most of the outdoor space, not to mention the huge water fight.  Via Beata art pilgrimage will be offering young people the chance create a piece of history and the Cafe is open all weekend.

Intents1CFAdam said, "A big part of getting ready is the setup and we would love to find a group of volunteers who might be able to come and spend the day outside in the sun, setting up the location ready for the young people."

"Things like setting up the prayer dome, getting the barn and the Iron Age round house ready.  Moving, sweeping, building and making!  If you aren't an outdoorsy person then perhaps you could help with sandwiches?  Everything would be much appreciated!"

If you want to get involved then email info@intents.org.uk or give Adam a call on 07598 475 436

The location of Intents is Brandon House Farm, Brandon Parva, Norwich, Norfolk, NR9 4DJ
