Jazz musician to speak at North Norfolk Filling Station
Norwich vicar and jazz musician David Lloyd, will be the guest speaker at the first meeting of North Norfolk Filling Station for 2019 on Monday January 28.
Dave Lloyd has been the Associate Vicar at St Thomas Church, Norwich since 2013. In 5 years St Thomas’ has expanded to three church sites across the City and also owns a pub! Dave lives next to one of the churches also known as the Sanctuary Coffee Stop, where they have regular jazz mornings and outreach events.
Dave is a founder trustee of the Norfolk based charity Street Child, which also founded the Sierra Leone Marathon in which he has taken part seven times.
He loves playing jazz, sailing and spending time with his wife Anna, children Georgia and Zac and their crazy dog Poppy!
The Filling Station, which was born out of the Church of England in the West Country, has grown exponentially in terms of venues opening all over the United Kingdom and continues to serve and refresh both Church leaders, congregations and more importantly to open the eyes of those who are seeking answers to the meaning of life through the Christian faith. The Filling Station is helping to bring unity amongst believers from across the whole Church spectrum.
All are welcome at this meeting of The Filling Station for an evening of fellowship and wonderful worship followed by the main talk, entitled "One Thing".
Coffee and cakes will be available from 7pm, with the main talk at 7.30pm. There will also be a prayer ministry time at the end of the evening.
