ROCcoversationCFNorwich event anticipates a season of opening doors

The ‘Transforming the Atmosphere’ group that meets once a month in Norwich will be talking about the recent ROC conversation at their next meeting on February 18.

‘Transforming the Atmosphere’ continues to build upon the specialist teaching of Revd Dr Alistair Petrie (after his three visits in 2015, 2016 and 2017), and has developed a ministry that combines socio-historical research with informed prayer-walking and a continuing discipline of humbly seeking the Lord for fresh insight.
Following the positive conversations at the recent ‘Redeeming Our Communities’ conversation (7 Feb), the next meeting will be giving thanks for this significant step forward, and praying that the distilled response from ROC to Norwich will offer relevant insight and real inspiration for future cooperation. Call to Prayer trustee Rev Nigel Fox said, "We will also be praying that, as doors continue to open, the wider church will now awaken and arise to see its opportunities and to seize them."
“It is so encouraging to see that, after years of praying in the background, more green shoots of opportunity are readily apparent. This is a prime example of a new season of opportunity unfolding before us.
“All too often, this is a time of year when things feel at a low ebb… but we are called to heed the words of Isaiah:
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you.” (Isa. 60:1)
We believe the Lord is clearly calling His Church to ‘wake up’ and arise to take hold of fresh opportunities to be Church as it needs to be.”
‘Transforming the Atmosphere’ meets monthly on third Mondays at the House of Prayer, on Fishergate, Norwich, NR3 1SE. All are most welcome to join in. The next meeting will be on Monday 18th February, at 7.30pm.
