The Magdalene Group has been supporting women affected by sexual exploitation and coercion for over 25 years and has built an excellent reputation for building trusted relationships with some of the most marginalised women in society.
Women experiencing multiple disadvantage, sexual violence and abuse can face many barriers to accessing support due to stigma, prejudice and a lack of understanding of their needs. Our expertise in this field ensures we are well-placed to recognise the routes into sexual exploitation and to provide gender-responsive and trauma-informed support for women who face intersecting issues.
The post-holder will be based within the Doorway Women’s Service and will engage with women to ensure they understand and can address the barriers they face to successfully manage their tenancies. The post-holder will raise awareness with partner agencies ensuring women have access to specialist support from a range of services.
£22,500 – £26,500 per annum fte.
Hours of Work:
37.5 hours per week; this is a full time post which will require flexibility with occasional early mornings, late evenings and some weekend work to meet client need.
