Norfolk Bible teacher publishes her first book
Norfolk Bible teacher, Sandie Hammond, has always had a passion for God’s Word and finding the treasure within it. Now she has shared what she has discovered in her first published book.
God’s Covenant Heart is a love story. It is a love story between God and His children. In it, Sandie takes the reader on a journey from Creation through the Old Testament to the cross and beyond, and in doing so reveals the true love we all desire to find and know.
Sandie, who lives in Brundall and attends Soul Church in Norwich, has been studying scripture for decades. Over the years, she has taught numerous other believers face-to-face, in small and large groups to understand the Bible and seek out revelation for themselves. More recently, and as a result of the Covid restrictions, her teaching has gone online and she regularly teaches and encourages students from the USA, Pakistan, the Middle East and across the UK.
Sandie said: “I believe God’s Word, as it says, is living and active, that its truth can change lives, bring hope, freedom, peace and joy, as we receive its revelation. It also unveils who God really is, a God of immeasurable love.”
Her book shows us who God reveals Himself to be through the covenants He made, beginning with Adam and journeying with God’s people through history. We discover Noah, a righteous man in a day of evil, Abraham the first of the Patriarchs, Moses the man of humility and miracles, and David, God’s warrior king and shepherd. Finally, the Cross is unveiled, God’s New Covenant, and we glimpse Eden once again in the resurrection garden.
God’s Covenant Heart shows the God of the Old Testament to be the same God we find in the New. A God of mercy and love, willing to go to extreme lengths to give us that love. It is packed with revelation, truth and faith building Personal Application sections.
