Norfolk speaker puts on New Testament sandals 

Rev Dr Sue Woan, who used to lead the Norwich Diocesan Ministry Course, is inviting people to step into New Testaments sandals for day retreats in Mattishall and Badersfield.

Through interactive presentations, you will discover how geography, politics, festivals and the individual perspectives of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John have resulted in four gospels. The days will be a fun day of exploration and new insights and includes a unique visit to ‘Churches Together in Rome’ and a personal encounter with St. Paul. No previous knowledge of the New Testament is required, but please bring a Bible if you can (we will have some available to borrow as well). Sandals are optional.
 
The Mattishall event is taking place on Saturday September 24. It is free, though any donations would be welcome. Please bring your own lunch, while drinks will be provided for you throughout the day. A bookstall of useful resources for study will be available.

Car parking near the church is somewhat limited. If you have a particular need to be able to park close to the church, please email Alan Cossey with details. Parking recommendations will be emailed to ticket holders a few days before the session itself.

You will be welcome from 9.30 (drinks) for a prompt 10.00 start, expecting to finish around 15.00. The venue is All Saints’ church, Mattishall NR20 3QF.
