Opportunity to attend Hope Into Action conference

Local homelessness charity Hope Into Action HIA have extended their early bird deal on tickets to their National Conference in March.

The conference is on Friday March 16 in Peterborough and it  is a day where the charity encourages, inspires and equips anyone interested in or working in churches housing the homeless.
Last year over 250 people attended from across the UK with over 20 people travelling from Norwich. Several local tenants won awards for various milestones including gaining and retaining employment to incredible progress in addiction recovery. This year plans to be bigger and better than ever with a range of impressive guest speakers and interactive seminars and workshops.
Norwich Co-ordinator Kate Doran Smith said, “What I think makes the HIA Conference so special is the feeling of unity and encouragement you get from the day. This is not just a day of listening to ‘professionals’, it’s a chance to engage with our tenants, hear testimonies from church volunteers, celebrate successes and pray for those struggling."

"Every person there has a heart for serving the poor and marginalised and I’d love to be able to fill a coach load of people from Norwich and Norfolk this year!”

Speakers include International speaker and author and former President of Tearfund and Dr Elaine Storkey, Jubilee+ team leader Martin Charlesworth and trauma expert Elane Wainaina amongst others.
