Norfolk events: concerts, social action, Isaiah
Latest events of interest to the Norfolk Christian community include an Emma Nuule concert, a Cinnamon social action course and a teaching series on Isaiah.
Crossover Norwich soprano Emma Nuule will be performing at Heartsease Lane Methodist Church, NR7 9NR at 2.30pm on Sunday September 25.
The concert is free but Emma is inviting donations towards a Praise and Perform school which she hopes to found in a poor area of Windhoek, Namibia.
The event is being supported by the Troshers Accordions playing singalong popular music with words on the screen for many of their numbers.
St Stephen's in Norwich invites you to worship with the group Power and Beauty from 7:00pm - 10:00pm on Saturday October 1 at Rampant Horse Street, Norwich, NR2 1QP.
This is a Gospel music live event featuring praise and worship songs.
Cinnamon Connect Academy is offering to help you run well-planned social action projects that meet the needs of your community. If you are a church leader, project leader, activist, or volunteer who wants to transform their communities for the better, this is aimed at you.
The course kicks off in October 2022 and will finish in June 2023. Each month you’ll attend a 3-hour training workshop and 1-hour mentoring session. You’ll also receive resources and content to reflect on in your own time. A place in the Connect Academy costs £27 a month for 9 months.

A new season at Light House Norwich is beginning on Thursday mornings as Jill Gower explores the prophecies of Isaiah and how prophecy is worked out in our own lives.
The events are at Antingham Hall, NR7 9TA and begin at 10.30 with worship and prayer, and just being open to Holy Spirit. This will be followed by a coffee break before a time of teaching and finish by 1pm.
