Norwich chance to meet other faiths and eat cake

Norwich Quaker Meeting is staging an interfaith coffee and cake morning on Friday September 28 between 10am and 12 noon.

Hosted by Steven Walton, the event provides an opportunity for members of all Norwich worshipping communities to come together, talk, share ideas, eat cake and raise money for MacMillan cancer care and Marie Curie cancer care.

"This Interfaith event may be a first in Norwich,"explained Steven. "We are using cancer to bring us together; it can affect any one of us at any time, irrespective of age, gender or faith. Cancer, like God knows no boundaries. We will also provide space for those wishing to pray," he added.

Why not pop along to the Quaker Meeting House, on Upper Goat Lane, (between Pottergate and St Giles) and join the conversation over coffee and cake.

For more information, or to offer to make cake, contact Steven Walton
